NAIOP Colorado and Land Title welcomed students, industry leaders, and special guests to the 24th Annual Rocky Mountain Real Estate Challenge Kick-Off on January 15, 2026. This year’s Challenge features Ladera, a master-planned community in Timnath, Colorado, owned and sponsored by Connell LLC, and centers on a 14.55-acre waterfront site with reservoir views, open space, and trail connections. Graduate student teams from the University of Colorado and University of Denver will develop innovative, real-world proposals addressing land use, design, market positioning, and financing, as they compete in one of NAIOP Colorado’s signature educational programs connecting emerging talent with the commercial real estate community.
